My wife presented a most unusual gift for the two of us to use while we’re in the kitchen.
While not looking like much, this little sucker will give the big boys a huge run for their money.

Does my wifey know technology or what?

Complete with all digital tuning, RDS capability, a cool voice memo recording feature, and a built-in kitchen timer; it’s the perfect kitchen audio companion!

The bottom firing speaker sure does pack a pleasant audio punch as well.

I’ve always been impressed with Sangean’s products; having used a number of their world band receivers in the past.
I’m also a proud owner of the superior quality Sangean RCR-22 atomic alarm clock radio.  It makes getting up in the early morning much easier with it’s cool “ramp up” alarm feature.  Heck, I’ll never go back to using any other type of clock radio.

Yep, Sangean comes through again.
I think it’s safe to say they’ve become what Sony used to be when it comes to the world band / consumer tabletop radio market.
