Time Magazine: "10 Things You Can Like About $4.00 Gas"

time_magazine_gas The Drive-Bys are sure doing their damndest to convince us all as a nation that $4.00 a gallon gas isn't such a bad thing.  Take the moonbats at Time Magazine for instance.  They actually put together a piece containing ten items which can be considered "perks" of $4.00 a gallon gasoline.  Can somebody say insanity?  While the Democrats and Drive-Bys are busy scrambling for every excuse possible (as well as outlining the perks) as to why we should not be drilling for our own energy resources at home.  I'll tell you what Time Magazine, if $4.00 a gallon gas isn't so bad, why don't you people foot half my bill for me?  After all, it's not so bad, right?

It's so blatantly obvious the Democrats (along with the Drive-Bys) will stop at nothing until we as a nation are brought to our bloody knees in terms of our energy needs. If you disagree with me, then tell me I'm wrong and then provide me solid proof the Democrats in Congress are doing something about lowering gas prices at the pump.  After all, wasn't this something Nancy Pelosi pledged in 2006?  We're still waiting, Madam Speaker.  And do not hand me the B.S. about energy alternatives being the answer, because while I support alternative sources of energy, they simply aren't ready for prime time .... yet.

That being said, what do we do in the meantime?  Do we bleed every American citizen to death at the pump?  Given the lack of action coming from the Democrats in Congress, I guess so.  Here's the irony: Even while the Democrats claim they are concerned about the high prices at the pump, they are also considering increasing the gas tax.  How is that "concern?"  Let's increase the burden at the pump even more by increasing the gas tax!  That'll fix those high gas prices!

I am telling you right now, the Democrats will do anything until we're all forced to pay $10.00 or more a gallon at the pump. Given all I said above, what do you think the true motive of the Democrats are?  One really has to sit back and wonder.

What is it going to take before the American people start to wake up to this absolute irrational lunacy the Democrats are imposing on us?

Let's start drilling, now.

No more excuses.

Boy are you out of date. Even Dick Cheney's office said the Chinese AREN'T drilling off the coast of Florida.

Do your homework. You look like an idiot when you don't.

Neither is the skimpy amount of oil in ANWR or off shore. That wouldn't be ready for years and years even if we started drilling our damndest tomorrow morning.

No One You Know:

Did you even bother to read? Or perhaps you just wanted to jump the gun and prove me wrong.

If you bothered to click on the link, you'd know that it was dated 2006.

I could say the same of the liberal left moonbats who are trying to push a Photoshopped Barack Hussein Obama birth certificate as authenticate.

Andy: If Bill Clinton wouldn't of vetoed the 1995 bill to open up ANWR, certainly we'd be enjoying that oil right now. After all, his reasons were we wouldn't see the oil for 10 to 12 years. Well, that time has passed, no?

Just another positive notch courtesy of the Clinton legacy.

That's right, let's not drill for oil, even though every single one of us depend on it each and every single day.

Does this all mean we should drill for our own oil? Or should we continue to bend over and grab our ankles for the Democrats and their environmental friends?

Guess again, Braden.

You used a source that was dated 2006 to support this:

countries like China are drilling for oil off the Florida coast

See that three letter word "are" that means present tense. YOU WROTE that the Chinese are now drilling off the Florida coast.

Present tense.

Do your homework before writing anything, you'll look like less of an idiot that way.

If that's possible.

Hmmm, you are correct. I shall fix that immediately.

MOVING ON ...

Speaking of doing one's homework, perhaps you'd like to enlighten us as to how your beloved Democrats will help bring down the price of gas by increasing the gas tax?

I get the feeling you will demonstrate silence in terms of the original subject of the post.

But all you can do is point out one single sentence while again ignoring the entire meaning of the original post at hand. Go figure ... that's what liberals like yourself do.

I believe there's a name for people like you ... Yes, I believe the word is "troll."

Heh.

Andy and The Troll have both failed to present anything salient to the argument, as expected.

So, much like Congressional democrats, Andy and Oh-Brilliant-One appear to suggest that we drive small cars and wait for the wind.

I noticed the Oh-Brilliant-One hasn't responded to the main subject of this post, and I knew he/she wouldn't. They know they have absolutely nothing intelligent to add to the argument.

Typical liberals, what do they do? They attack when confronted with something they have no idea how to respond to.
