Do the people on Berkeley, California's city council feel no shame in what they do? Read about it here. And here. And just where do the morons at Code Pink think the "forces" will come from in terms of them wanting to send peace keeping forces to Darfur (I'm not giving the imbeciles at Code Pink a free link, just Google "Code Pink+Darfur", click on the first result)?

Recommendation:
1. Direct the City Attorney to investigate and report back to Council within 60 days on City options for enforcing Chapter 13.28 of the Berkeley Municipal Code, prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, with respect to military recruiting offices in Berkeley;
2. Direct the City Manager to send letters to the Marine Corps Recruiting Station at 64 Shattuck Avenue and to General James T. Conway, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, advising them that the Marine recruiting office is not welcome in our city, and if recruiters choose to stay, they do so as uninvited and unwelcome intruders;
3. Encourage all people to avoid cooperation with the Marine Corps recruiting station, and applaud residents and organizations such as Code Pink, that may volunteer to impede, passively or actively, by nonviolent means, the work of any military recruiting office located in the City of Berkeley.
That being said, I am delighted to read that a Senator has come up with the idea of Berkeley no longer needing federal funds considering Berkeley voting to boot the Marines out. Yes! I love it!
Don't you think it's pretty safe to say the liberal philosophy of "diversity and tolerance" at Berkeley can be demonstrated like this:
I'd also like to know if the Berkeley City Council will hand out parking and sound permits to the family members of Marines who wish to protest in front of the office of Code Pink?
By the way, do any of you dullards protesting in front of the Marine recruiting station at Berkeley ever bother to bathe? You all perfectly resemble the bunch of grimy, grungy, wretched, societal scum that you are. Do any of you hold any real form of employment, or do you all sit around protesting Marine recruiting stations all day long while collecting relief from the Government?
