Dual Screenage

I promise, I will stop.  Sometimes the geek in me goes into overdrive.  I just couldn't resist sharing the following photo which shows one of my favorite screen savers running on my dual screen set up.

dual-2

Damn if that doesn't look cool.

I have two in my office at home as well. I can't live without less. I feel like I'm trapped in a tiny box otherwise. I had to one-up myself and go with three LCDs at work though. Unfortunately they aren't all the same brand so the gamma is a little different across screens.

Three screens? Damn you! How did you manage to acquire three screens? I am lucky to get one LCD screen at work. Although, I am sure three screens is definitely up there when it comes to being able to stay productive, not to mention the "coolness" factor which goes along with it.

Very cool photo!! Two screens, three screens? You guys are my heroes. In a parallel universe I am totally a full-on computer geek. In this universe, I just aspire to be. ;-)

Meh, there's extra stuff sitting around sometimes. I just keep my eyes open for it. I can justify it since I do design and development all day. The more workspace I have the less time I have to screw around moving things around. I'll take a picture and show you my setup at some point.

Here you go. Image hosted on flickr. I'll be losing one of them soon. We're getting new MacBook Pros and you can only hook up 2 monitors to them without a special adapter.

Schweeeet!!! What's with the two keyboard's mounted on the left and right sides of your chair? Is it split keyboard?

That's an awesome set up you have.

I am jealous, between that, and the fact that you're getting new MacBook Pros.

Yeah, the keyboard is a Kinesis Evolution split keyboard that is mounted to my chair. I don't think they make it anymore unfortunately. I got it about 5 years when my right arm decided to go numb. Ever since then I've had no problems.
