Yesterday was a rather pleasant day. The wife and I took our son up to my Mom and Dad's place in order to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We all had a pleasant day and I managed to walk about and grab some good pictures while I was there. Btw: Thanks to my brother for the show.

Update: I should of revealed as to what the first photograph is. Near my parent's house, there is a treee which has been populated by a swarm of bees for several years now. It's so neat to get close to them and just watch. Some members of the hive sit outside and fan their wings in order to help keep the hive cool while countless others zoom in and out of the nest performing their daily routine. The photograph below the bee tree consists of a macro composition of raspberries. Needless to say, I ate the ripe one once I was satisfied with the series of macro shots I got off of the bunch.
