I’ll tell you what, if I was this substitute teacher, there’s NO way I would have let these bastard kids get away with what they did.  Job be damned, they’d both be on the floor after I kicked their asses.

This is precisely what’s wrong with our schools.  The teachers are no longer allowed to show the kids who is boss.  A long, long time ago in a school system far, far away, teachers were not only allowed to inflict an ass beating on kids who got out of line, the parents also encouraged it.  Plus, the parents gave the kids a good old-fashioned ass beating the same day their kids received it for being out of line at school.  This is the way it was.  This is the way it still needs to be.

But, no more.  Now, teachers are supposed to do nothing.  Even while it’s caught on video.
We’ve become a society where we let kids get away with whatever.  Because you know, they’re just kids.  We have to be sensitive to their feelings.

Screw that.  This is why some kids are the way they are today.  Because the know damn well they will get away with it with nothing more than a slap on the wrist.
