Lately, I’ve been going through a Chet Atkins and Jerry Reed phase.  Those two played the guitar like no other(s). 
Just listening to the “Me and Chet” LP makes me want to smile and tap a foot to the beat.

I found this LP at Half Price Books for $2.98.  The vinyl itself is in absolute pristine condition, not a single pop or click is anywhere to be found on this superb sounding record.

Making good use of my new computer, I digitized this fine collection of music and ran it through an EQ to preserve the LP “warmth.”  It sounds so sweet.  I love it!

I think I’ll post a track from this album for this coming Sunday’s “Sunday Morning Music” entry.

Sometimes, good music is damn hard to come by.
I’m glad I didn’t pass this one up.

Hmmm, all I need now is bit of scotch on the rocks and the evening will be perfect.
